Volkswagen lost keys

We can only program a remote key to a vehicle which left the factory with a remote if for example; most polo’s and fox’s don’t have a remote key. We will have to provide a non-remote key and can’t simply upgrade to a remote key.

Gaining entry

We have many different methods we can use to gain entry into a Volkswagen vehicle, if it’s a lost key situation then we’d lock pick the door lock which then enables us to get the key codes to cut a key for the same lock which is currently on the car. If it’s a type of situation that you’ve locked the key in the vehicle then depending on model and year of the car depending which method we believe would be most cost efficient.

Spare keys

If you have a vehicle with just one key then we always recommend you get a spare key straight away, it could save you loads of money and headaches if and when you misplace your key. Again with spare keys we can do remote or non-remote keys depending on the type of key which you require, feel free to contact us for more info.

Transponder keys

All vehicles sold in the UK since 1995 have a small chip inside the key which allows the car or van to fire up and start.

Programming transponder to the vehicles there is loads of different methods on some of the older vehicles for example polo’s golf MK3 etc. we have to remove the immobilizer box from the vehicle which in turns means we can program a key for the vehicle. For 85% of the Volkswagens we can program a key via OBD diagnostics port. For the vehicles in which we have to remove immobilizer units to program keys as a general rule if you have a current key means we can program via the diagnostics port. If you don’t have no keys then we have to program direct into the immobilizer unit which will take more time and cost more money.
